Fannie Guanzon intuitively sees two things most people keep apart: what a business is worth, and what it is worth to the person who built it.
She knows the difference because she has spent more than three decades building and running businesses herself. An Economics graduate of Ateneo de Manila University, with executive education at the Asian Institute of Management, her ventures have spanned health and wellness, consultancy, design and property, including Herb’s Best, the wellness brand she grew from the ground up with partner farming communities. Her work has also extended to environmental advocacy through Sangkalikasan Cooperative, whose work in marine conservation includes coral propagation on an unprecedented scale.
She is, by turns, a US-certified health coach, NLP practitioner, speaker and past President of Soroptimist International of Makati, where she advanced programs for the education, economic empowerment and well-being of women and girls. Somewhere in all of it she remains an incorrigible fashionista and foodie, a traveler with a passion for good design and a beautifully set table. That curiosity about people and places follows her into business: she observes closely, asks questions and looks beyond what is immediately apparent.
As a business broker, Fannie takes the time to understand what an owner has built and how best to present it. She looks beyond the financials to the operation, its market and customers, its strengths and dependencies, and opportunities a prospective buyer may recognize. She brings an owner’s perspective to the seller’s side and a buyer’s curiosity to the other, drawing on decades of relationships, business development and negotiation to position the opportunity, open the right conversations and bring the right parties together.
For her clients, that means a broker who understands the business beyond the numbers, can articulate what makes it worth considering, and represents it with the perspective of someone who has spent a lifetime building businesses herself.
